So yea some stuff happened in Turkey and my opinion on the news

There's some stuff going on in Turkey. I didn't really understand that much, so I did some research. Apparently there's a civil war in Syria, and the Turkish Armed Forces are helping the Syria National Army fight against the Syrian Democratic Forces. The USA soldiers are Turkey's allies, even if Trump thinks going there was a big mistake. Now there's a ceasefire I think, if it hasn't ended yet, and many soldiers are overly excited about it (they're celebrating and stuff, and isn't that too much? I mean, they'll continue to kill people again after five days, so it doesn't make that much sense).

These stories have very little relation to me as an individual though, and although one could argue that I need to be informed about the stuff that's happening in the world, with all the things that happen in the world every single day, do I really need to know all the horrible things? Because that's what the news tend to do, talk about awful stuff that puts me in a bad mood, and I can do nothing about it, I don't have the power to stop those bad things from happening.
