Germany’s economy

Germany is shutting down its entire coal industry by the next 18 years. The country, in fact, is reliant on coal (29% power) and it’s the world’s largest producer of ‘brown coal’, the most polluting one.
Germany also want to be carbon neutral by the 2050 and it’s shutting down its nuclear power by 2022, too.
The country’s goal is reaching 65% of renewable electricity generation by 2030.
By 2050 the budget needs work of support and infrastructure projects for former coal workers amounts to 45$ billion.
